Meeting 4

Theme: Communication

  • Journal prompt: 3-5 things you wish people knew about you; Update short-term goals
  • Book discussion
  • Play the guessing game
  • Play telephone
  • Discuss importance of communication & how to improve communication
  • Go for a walk
  • Hand out more coloring pages
  • Assign weekly reading

Meeting 5

Theme: Dealing with Stress

  • Journal prompt: Write about a time you were stressed & how you dealt with it
  • Book discussion
  • Go over stress & burnout
  • Set priorities; You should always be your #1 priority
  • Understand there are some things you can't control
  • Everyone give each other a compliment
  • Ways to take care of yourself:
    • Exercise
    • Eat healthy
    • Socialize
    • Alone time is also important
    • Treat yourself
  • Write things you are grateful for
  • Draw or take a walk in nature
  • Assign weekly reading (finish the book!)

Meeting 6

Theme: Setting Intention

  • Journal prompt: Write intentions & update goals
  • Final book discussion
  • Do a self reflection
  • Talk about staying grounded
  • Tennis ball/ positive affirmation activity
    • Build each other up
    • Affirmation about behavior, not praise
    • Pair up & present with one another

  • Discuss how you will use what was learned during this program in the future :)
